Super comfy. Can be worn with jeans or khakis. Feels like slippers. I wanted a pair of black shoes that weren’t so “stuffy” looking. These don’t look like banker’s shoes. When I wear a cold tone sports jacket (e.g., gray), I want a cold tone shoe (e.g., black).These Rockports have a soft rubbery sole and heel which makes them not only comfortable but quiet. The shoes don’t squeak.I would have preferred a penny loafer with a texture so that they would look even more casual like the brown penny loafers that I got from LL Bean but I wasn’t able to find a black textured loafer anywhere. I’m breaking them in (adding crease lines) by wearing them in the house for a few days so that they don’t look so new. Even brand new, they’re so comfortable that it’s not like wearing shoes. They’re like slippers.Although my feet have been measured as being an average width, I bought 3E extra wides (but the shoes don’t look wide). Why wide width? So that my feet have plenty of wiggle room for comfort and I was able to go down a 1/2…
