Not for me… Tried these on when received. With the discounted price I thought they might be a less expensive replacement for my Cole Hahn slip on loafers. Not even close. These felt cheap, were too tight and were not comfortable, at all. I used to enjoy wearing Rockport shoes. I think years ago they were made better and certainly were comfortable. The last two pair of Rockport shoes should have been sent back, this time, I tried them on and quickly made the decision to send them back.
2Es not as wide as I expected – fit is a bit of a stretch Bought these primarily as comfortable shoes for driving (or sitting on a plane). Because I wanted these to be somewhat loose fitting I ordered size 10 2E (wide) instead of 9.5. They still ended up being a bit snug across the wide part of the foot. Ditch the socks and they are almost where I’d want them. Maybe they’ll loosen up with more wear.Good construction, comfortable foot-bed, minimal arch support.
I wore these shoes for the first time on a … I wore these shoes for the first time on a class field trip walking around DC. They felt incredible for the 3 mile walk. However the finish on the toes was scuffed after this event. I usually wear a size 11.5 and had to get the size 11. My four star rating came only due to the finish not holding up
