Good fit (using med thickness dress socks) Good fit (using med thickness dress socks). Little to no, break-in time needed. I wore them to work, three days in a row without any discomfort. Combined, these are my 4th pair of shoes by Johnston and Murphy (different styles from numerous stores) and I have enjoyed them all. Craftsmanship has been excellent. Overall, great shoes.
