Great if you want to do a little work Update: On the fix… The fix worked great on the Black shoe. If you try it on the brown shoe use very little oil as this will change the color of the leather if you use too much.These are great looking shoes! However, I’ve run into problems on 2 pair and I have a fix for you. The leather on the shoes is a little stiff, the leather on the Kilt is REALLY STIFF. This can be a good thing if you want the kilt to remain in place and not roll up I suppose. However, the Kilt on the 3 pair I’ve had are way too stiff and rough.On the first pair I had (Black) the kilt was so stiff that it caught on the weave of the toe piece and there was a loud click when I walked (just one shoe). I tried bending it up a bit, but it kept on catching, so I sent them back. The reviews all said these run large, I’m normally between an 11.5 and a 12, so I bought the 11.5. These were just a bit tight, they probably would have been fine after breaking in, but I thought maybe the tight fit…
