Very stylish BUT… I want to start of by writing that these shoes are very stylish. They look fantastic on your foot. They bring a very classy look to your casual appearance. The reason I am giving this product a two star rating is because the design/product flaw in the front toe area. Unfortunately, all loafer style shoes are subject to getting the toe end beat up and torn in the front toe area. Frye should realize this and make the shoe with tougher leather (or some type of guard in the toe area, like some Cole…
You may think they are too small at first…. This is is real leather and it may need a stretch…wear it a few times, you may not need to send them back. My first thought when I put them on was that they were too narrow. I found that hard to belive since I still run a bit naroow of D width and there was plenty of room in the toes. (size 12). I wore them for a day with thinner socks and noticed them begin to stretch and loosen up to a very comfortable wear now. I have since moved to normal thickness socks and LOVE these shoes!
Nice product I’ve always had an issue with the front of shoes getting worn down when there is not a large enough lip for the sole. Unfortunately this type of shoe does not have a large lip on the front of the sole so knew it would not work for me. The shoe is very well made for those that do not have this issue.
