Size up. You’ll want to size up half or maybe even a full size on these. Normally I wear an 8.5 D, but I have a high instep and sometimes need to size up to 9. I ordered 8.5 and couldn’t even get my foot into the shoe. I compared them with a pair of Alden loafers in the same size (that are just on the edge of being too small for me) and the Berkely was about a centimeter shorter. Unfortunately, Amazon doesn’t have my size at their incredibly good price, and I’m not inclined to pay $35 extra to buy a new…
The shoe is too small I ordered a 3E for my husband and it is still too small. The leather also isn’t very firm and bends far too easily when putting the shoe on. The shoes look nice but do not look as if they will hold up. I am returning.
Great fit This shoe fit my husband very well–11.5D. He didn’t particularly like the two-toned heal and sole, thus only 4 stars.
