An age-old design that never gets old I had my first pair in high school and just bought another pair. I cannot tell that the quality has changed one bit and it is one of best “true-to-size” shoes I’ve bought in quite a while. They look good, polish well and last a long time. Ordinarily you would have to pay much more for a pair of shoes that are this enjoyable.
Big toe wore through sole in 3 months I was pleased with low price on these and initially ordered a size 12. Amazon was good about a quick free return and then 11.5 fit decent enough, but a little over 3 months later and the soles on both feet have wore through at the big toe. It rained last week and the water went through both holes in the shoes and got my socks wet. Pretty disappointed and Amazon said since I already returned the first pair it was technically impossible to replace/exchange this pair.
Shoes appearance and workmanship was good. I ordered an 11 1/2 D, the same size that I wear in an athletic shoe, but the Bass shoe was too narrow for me. Shoes appearance and workmanship was good.
